Eugene Castro Wins Event #12 $350 NLHE

When Dominic Ricciardi went out in third place, Eugene Castro and Matthew Klein agreed to an even chop of the remaining money, and by nature of his slight chip lead, Castro took the championship and the trophy. Here are the official results:

Bodog Ari Discusses a Key Hand from the $50,000 Guaranteed

We caught up to Ari during a break and talked to him about a strange hand that got him a lot of chips late in the tournament.

There are seven players remaining and they decided to chop it up so that each player will receive $1,900, with second getting $2,700 and first getting $3,200 and the trophy.

On the very next hand Bessinger got his remaining chips in with [2s][7s] against Engel's [Kh][8s], with the board running [Jd][9s][8c][2d][9h] giving Ari the pot and the title, along with the $16,000 first prize.

Event #11 $50,000 Guaranteed - Down to Heads-Up, Ari Wins Almost All of the Chips w/ Aces vs. Kings

They are down to heads-up play in this one, with "Bodog" Ari taking on Sam Bessinger. Bessinger held a significant chip advantage but Ari has pulled it back to even.

Just before this post was to go up, they played a pot for almost all of the chips in play with Ari holding pocket aces against Bessinger's pocket kings with all of the money going in on a flop with all baby cards.

Lev Serzhenko had Dan Michalski by more than 4-1 when the final hand went down. They got all-in on an [Ad][Jd][Th] board, Michalski holding [Ac][4d] against Serzhenko's [8h][9h]. The turn brought more outs with the [9c] and the river was a heartbreaker for Michalski with the [9s] giving Serzhenko trip nines and the title.
