It was another bad beat that brought us down to the final nine. A pre-flop all-in between pocket jacks and [Ad][2d] was won when an ace spiked the turn to eliminate our tenth place finisher, Vance Essak.

Event #10 $50,000 Guaranteed NLHE - Down to 10

2 players, including Dustin Lytle, were eliminated on one hand to bring the field down to 10. Joseph Cheong and Joe Tehan both went out in the play down from 18, but "Bodog" Ari Engel has made the final ten.

We will eliminate one more player and then come back tomorrow to play out the final table. The player who goes out in 10th place will earn $750.

Event #11 Pokerati Half NLH/Half PLO $230 w/ rebuy - On the Bubble

There are just six players remaining in the tournament, so we are on the money bubble.

Event #10 $50,000 Guaranteed NLHE - Bubble Bursts

Simultaneous to the setting of the final table was the bursting of the bubble. It was of course a bad beat as KQ got there against AK to eliminate the 19th place finisher.

Hand for hand play is over & the final two tables are back underway. Everyone is guaranteed $550, and all three previously mentioned notables (Cheong, Tehan & Bodog Ari) are still alive as they quickly approach the final table.

Event #11 Pokerati Half NLH/Half PLO $230 w/ rebuy - Final Table set

Two players were eliminated to get the field down to nine, the official final table. Only five spots are paying, so there's still plenty of poker to be played.

The name on the game, Dan Michalski of Pokerati, is still alive as is Carol Lynn Kline who finished third in the PLO/8 event.

31 players entered the half Hold'em, half Omaha event and generated a prize pool totaled $11,520. The payouts are as follows:

If you want to get your Pot Limit Omaha fix, this is the tournament for you. Featuring a $230 buy-in with one rebuy, there will be a rotation of Pot Limit Omaha and No Limit Hold'em that will change once an orbit.

There are already a couple of big names registered (including Gavin Smith) and yours truly will also take another shot after recovering from a heartbreaking fifth-place finish in the 7-game event. The host of this event is Dan Michalski, owner and operator of Pokerati.com, the source for poker news, rumors and gossip.

The tournament starts at 5 pm but registration will remain open until 7:15 pm, so hurry down to the Hard Rock.
